Katya Libkind was born in 1991 in Vladivostok. In 2016 she graduated from The National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. In 2020 she was awarded the scholarship of the “Gaude Polonia” Programme in Wrocław. Works in the media of graphics, painting, sculpture, installation, film, and land art. She is an artist without prejudice. She was artistic director of the operas “Bread, salt, sand”, “Limb”, «Luci mie traditrici» which were staged by Ukho musical agency in 2016-2019 years. From 2016 till 2019 years was working as a set designer, including for the concerts “Voice Architecture”. A member and founder of “Montage” collective. In 2018 became a member and co-founder of ateliernormalno, a studio for artists with and without Down Syndrome. Lives and works in Kyiv.
