Alina Lamakh (19 November 1925, Nizhylovychi — 25 April 2020) was a master of fine textiles. In 1954, she graduated from the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, classes of M. Bavstruk and V. Manastyrskyi. She worked at the Darnytsia Silk Mill, where from 1954 to 1981 she was an artist of jacquard and decorative fabrics. Since 1957, she has participated in all-Ukrainian, all-Union, and foreign art exhibitions. She had personal exhibitions in Kyiv in 1996 and 2000. Major works: tapestries — "Herbs" (1974), "Kateryna Bilokur" (1984), "Karelia" (1987-93), "Spring Flowers" (1999), "Memories" (2000). Member of the National Union of Artists (1978). She was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honour (1977). She worked with tapestry, graphics, and still life.
